Origin of Life

As you may be aware there been many discussions on this very topic, but before trigger happy mods get about moving this, I implore to ask to keep this here. One the old thread is just that old and no doubt it's gone around in circles. Thus seems logical rather than combine threads instead you go for starting a new one.

Now that's out the way, I'll state clearly this isn't just a religious discussion, sure evolution and creationism may come into this, don't forget they're only two theories, thus alternative ideas and hypothesis's will be respected. To keep this thread open you must be willing to not flame and provide evidence for your answers, religious book verses are allowed, but if possible provide some other evidence with them.

Now as a whole this discussion can be volatile, but seeing previous discussions on here, I'm sure we can all hold back and respect one another. My side on this is partially science but also supernatural, at a whole evolution seems most possible and logical, but there is questions concerning certain facets. On a whole I'd be considered secular, but I would be lying if I said I was totally on this.

Also as theories are named, I'll list them here, perhaps we can all learn something from these, alternate beliefs/ideas.
